Born in Providence , Rhode Island , Arturo made his singing debut at the age of nine in a school concert and soon thereafter, with his parents encouragement, began taking accordion lessons. A road tour of the United States brought him to Las Vegas , where he headlined his show, "The Romantic Moods of Arturo."
